In loving memory of Patience

On March 16th, 2011 we lost our best friend and favorite traveling buddy, Patience.

We first met her in Custer, SD at the Humane Society. Later that day we met her previous owner who was very happy to find her with a new furever family. He told us she was terrified of storms because she had been hit by lightning in the past so we always had a keen eye on the sky for her.

We tried our best to make her remaining years on this earth filled with treats, belly rubs, and long walks. She was a dedicated dog, never needing a leash, she would follow us anywhere we went. She absolutely loved taking rides in the car, in fact she had occasionally jumped in other people cars if they left the doors open for her.

Everyone who has met her can’t help but love her and we’ll miss her for the rest of our lives. Thank you Patience for being the coolest dog we’ve ever known, we will never forget you.
